This is one of the best urgent cares I have ever been too. A cold allergy was troubling me that finally turned into a sinusitis infection with severe sore throat. This place was easy to get too and I made my way by the evening 4 'clock upon my arrival, the young lady sitting at the front desk took my details and asked to wait for a moment. She was extremely professional and helpful. Waiting area was clean and well furnished with good sitting arrangement. I had an appointment for a consultation at 3:30. I arrived at 2:50 because I was not sure about the traffic and wanted to arrive on time. The front desk customer service was average. I was taken up almost as soon as I arrived which was great. However, I waited in the exam room for 45 minutes. I understand that my appointment is at 3:30 and may have to wait but I still waited 15 extra minutes. I was respectful of their time so they should have been respectful of my time. This is what made me not want to get any work done at this clinic. It was not a very good first impression. I've seen both doctors in this practice for over 10 years and they are fine, but the front desk staff is so rude that I will not be going back. I had an emergency today and the doctor agreed to see me. They said I HAD to arrive within 30 minutes as the doctor was leaving then. I got there in 35 minutes and then had to wait for 45 more minutes to see the doctor as I sat there crying in pain. Then, when I was leaving they told me that since my insurance had changed (from BCBS to United Healthcare, both standard insurance) I would have to pay cash and get reimbursed because it was the weekend and they couldn't confirm my insurance. I asked them to just bill my insurance on Monday and it would be paid at 100%, but they would not. I told them this was ridiculous, did they think after 10 years I was going to try to rip them off? I was scared of having a blood clot in my leg, but within a few moments, my apprehension was eased when he assured me that I had only a muscle strain. He filled up the prescription and I left their clinic feeling relieved.
