I did not see the point in paying upwards of a grand to have an ER doc take some basic x-rays and put me in a knee brace. I remember seeing this place one night hanging out in DTLA, and decided to stop here since it was on the way home. To start of my critique, the wait time here was absolutely atrocious. I felt the need to be seen cause the side of my knee swelled to the size of a baseball, and it was clear it was filled with blood. I got called in and x-rayed fairly quickly, but waited some time for the films to be processed. My diagnosis at the end of the visit was a medial collateral ligament sprain, and I was told to rest a few days and I would be fine. I was also told a knee brace was not necessary as it would weaken my knee. Well 4 days later I still had no ability to put weight on it, and I was still bleeding under the skin. I made an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon by my house. After 2 x-rays I found out that I had a fracture. I shouldn't have put weight on it and I should have been in a brace. My treatment was delayed 4 days largely in part to negligence on behalf of the radiologist reading my study. So please do not count your bets on this place. It was total crap diagnosis, the place looked run down, and it smelled bad. You aren't supposed to make your patient overwhelmed with too much people in surroundings.
