Nobody wants to be paying a visit to the doctor or an urgent care center, but if I had to.. this is the place I would go to! I was feeling sick like a dog and just wanted a quick diagnosis and treatment for it. I actually stopped in here because it was on my way home from work and I knew there was a Walgreens pharmacy next door within walking distance so that I could quickly fill a prescription or get over-the-counter medications if I needed to. Because I think of urgent care centers as drive-through, quick physician service, I did not expect to find such sincere and thorough care! Dr. Fong gave a thorough examination and sat down to question me and listen to all my symptoms. He then continued with great discharge instructions, taught me how to use the medications properly and other things I should be doing to ease my flu diagnosis during my recovery process including but not limited to using a netti pot, bed rest activity and what foods I should be eating. Being a nurse myself, I can tell you it is rare to find a sincere, thorough physician with great bedside manners in a world that is always business-as-usual, quick service but when you do spot them, we can certainly tell you which ones are keepers!
