I've gotten two authorizations from here and I think this is the best and most affordable clinic. The staff is nice, they never push you into getting any extras (all you need is the paper - dispensaries don't care about the card - they MUST have the authorization paper). When I went in for a new authorization, I saw an Asian MD and he was very knowledgeable. I have epilepsy and have been using MMJ since I lived in WA. So I brought in my medical records (since I thought you had to - this was how it was done in WA before it was fully legalized) and the MD asked me a few questions regarding side effects, which I was already privy too. But I really appreciated that he treated me like a real patient, not just some random person who wanted to just be able to buy weed. We still waited over two hours to see the doctor. They have little to no air conditioning, so it was very hot in the exam rooms. Then my son was given a strep test. The rapid came back negative, but they sent one out to the lab to be processed, and he was given antibiotics as a precaution. I am a medical assistant, so I know throat cultures only take 2 days to come back, and that is what the doctor told me. I called two days later and was told by someone it takes 3 to 5 days. So I waited. Finally after 6 days I called and they still had no result. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he was busy. I called back a few minutes later. He was very unconcerned with my issue. He said he would have one of the girls call the lab and they would call me back. I waited over an hour and called them and they STILL didn't have the results. About 20 minutes after that, they called back with the results and the test was negative. So at this point, my son was needlessly on antibiotics for 6 days because for whatever reason, they didn't get the test results back. I was lied to on several different occasions and management didn't seem to care. I will never be going back and I will never refer to this clinic again. In fact, I will do everything I can to tell people about how horrible they are.
