I chose to go with Affordable Tree Care service even though they were not the cheapest quoted. I went with them because Luis, who I spoke to on the phone convinced me that his company was the most knowledgeable and could come out the fastest. He was able to schedule my tree trimming a week after we spoke, which was great. But what he did not tell me is that he actually had another company from the valley come do the work. When I arrived home at 5pm, the afternoon of the service, the tree had been thinned out and there was alot of debris in the yard. Victor, the foreman said everything would be cleared out and then they'd be done. By the time they were done it was after 630, so it was super dark. The following morning, I went out front to inspect the tree and the front yard....what a mess! They left behind alot of debris, trampled my plants and mangled the branches on other shrubs. They did not put my benches back and left them in the flower beds. I called Luis to complain about the condition of the yard and at first he tried to brush me off, by saying well you did have a rather large tree.....ummm, yes I know I had a large tree...that's why I hired a professional to trim it. If I knew they were going to destroy the rest of my yard I would have reconsidered using them. Luis agreed he would send someone within the next two days but of course that did not happen. I spent this past Sunday raking the grass and picking up the remaining branches which filled my entire green bin. Luis said that his team would be responsible for clean up and haul away...so I shouldn't have spent 3 hours cleaning up after him.
