I needed to have the lower left wisdom tooth removed because it was inflamed and impacted. This also meant that the top wisdom tooth needs to be removed as well. For my future comfort, it was best to have all four wisdom teeth removed to fit them in one operation (saving me time). I then met Dr. Axel who recommended me the conscious IV sedation anesthesia for my comfort. I am glad I followed her recommendation. Most of my friends have told me to get ready for the pain when I have my wisdom teeth removed. Two of my friends had them removed back in the US and Finland and they told me it was not a pretty experience. So, I braced myself for this supposedly painful experience. On the day of the surgery, I meet the anesthesiologist who was really cool. He explained what I will be going through really well. I then met Dr. Rico who will remove my wisdom teeth. I seriously think Dr. Rico has magic hands or something. I was asleep the whole procedure and when I woke up, it felt like nothing happened. They then gave me soup and then arranged for my ride going home. I felt like they took care of me really well, like I was family. I was alone in the Philippines and I appreciate that a lot. The next 3 days after the surgery, I felt NO PAIN at all. So I Skyped my friends telling them what had happened, and that I was perfectly fine after the surgery. And all they told me was, Bro, are you sure you had your wisdom teeth removed? LOL!!! 7 days later, Dr. Axel removed the stitches from the surgery and also cleaned my teeth. My heartfelt thanks to Gerochi Dental for this amazing experience. From day one until after the surgery, they looked out for me!
