Within two weeks the pain has disappeared and within a month she has recovered fully from the surgery. Numerous tests are done but there is no explanation for the anemia. Six months later she is healthy and active and her cheeks are ruddy. When she asks her doctor why he did not suspect anemia he tells her that she has never had anemia and based on her history he would never expect her to develop it. (He obviously has no training in geriatric care.) He then tells her, in an obvious contradiction of his previous position, that older people sometimes fail to absorb iron. He came me his best recommendations which I agreed to and even called my attorney to bring him up to speed on what he and I were doing. After they spoke Dr. Karr emailed my x-rays to my attorney just to have, which was cool since the xrays are digital and easy to work with. I felt really cared for as an individual. After several weeks I feel better and we started doing strengthening exercises during each visit now. I like how the treatments change as I progress. Regardless if this was a personal injury or not, I am getting great care. I understand Dr. Karr was initially concerned with preventing scare tissue from forming that could affect me years later with pain. He did ultrasound and muscle stim and traction. The adjustments are really deep and he gets more movement than any other chiropractor I've even been to and his adjustments way more comfortable. The office is warm and open. It's all digital and when I come in I have to log myself in at the terminal. I also input my symptoms on my own each day I come in which is really cool so I can have documented everything I want in my report in my own words.
