When I called, the receptionist confirmed that my insurance was one of their providers. When I questioned why I had a bill of $600 ,she well sometimes they take it and sometimes they don't. Physical Education Instructors Andy Kormendi and Kevin Staybace started the weekend sports program 15 years ago and have been joined by New York Cares volunteers for the past six years. Kormendi expresses extreme pride in the expansion of the school's regular year sports program, which has recently expanded to include a girls' basketball team and cheerleaders. He points proudly to a wall displaying pictures of last year's championship boys' team.
