Each time I was transferred and put on hold for A LONG TIME! Picked my trial lenses up and scheduled my follow up appt. Then after all of the wait I was running late for my appt but I called to let them know that I would be 5-10min late. The front desk said that was too long to wait and I would need to reschedule. There was an appt later in the day- I was there- even early, and I waited, and waitied, and waited. No one told me why or a timeframe.... Mind you this was a check to make sure my contacts are ok and then they release my Rx a 15 min max! I finally asked what was going on and they said the dr was going over and I could reschedule. Urg! I just needed my Rx! And then they said well if you don't have any problems with them I'll (the front desk rep- no medical experience) released my Rx. I'm sure my insurance enjoyed paying a front desk rep for my contact follow up?!?! We are very happy with oppening of this facility in this location where we can be taken in g... I could not believe how this place was run. I went in with severe food poisoning from oysters. First the doctor completely disregarded that I was within the incubation period and had all the symptoms of oyster poisoning. He said I didnt have food poisoning, gave me something for nausea and sent me on my way. I had been severely throwing up (and other end) for so long, that I had nothing left and was shaking painfully from being cold from the dehydration. I couldnt walk or stand by the time I got there. There was no attempt to warm me up or give me fluids. I begged for a blanket, and their answer was 'Sorry, the only blanket we have has blood on it.' What??? Also you only have one blanket in urgent care??? The front desk girl was a total sweetheart and felt terribly for me. She is the only reason there are 2 stars. The doctor, on the other hand was dismissive and treats you like you are stupid. I was able to see my primary doctor the next day, and he confirmed that I had in fact had food poisoning from oysters. I woukd never go here again. Id rather wait the in the emergency room. Malena Li seemed condescending and judgmental of our views and parenting practices. After a 40 minute wait she came in and left after about 7 minutes. She did not perform my child's 15 month well child check and informed us to return in two weeks. We are both working parents also attending school and this decision will hurt us financially and will be hard to reschedule as we have such tight schedules. Then she forgot we had needed vaccines and we waited another 10 minutes until someone realized we were still there. I will not return to see her and would recommend her to no one. I went through three doctors and several other personnel and they were all as good as it gets! Great service and above all, great human touch, something that's not very common these days. Dr Wood is a legend, Nichole the MA is a gem and Brandi from the front desk is very welcoming. I am very grateful and thankful to them all. I'm sure they don't always have it easy but I pray that they always have the strength and drive to deliver the best services possible. Two thumbs up!
