They completed no test to determine whether I in fact did have an allergic reaction, and never brought a doctor in to see me. If this office was not able to properly diagnose or care for an allergic reaction, then I should have been told as much, and therefore in my view, not receive a bill for care. When I received a bill for this appointment, I decided to file a claim with my insurance, citing that this was not adequate care and that I never even saw a doctor. This office has made it impossible to even pursue my claim as they have not cooperated with my insurance company in holding the bill until the claim is investigated, which according to my insurance company is standard protocol, although elective.
