I wish I could give separate reviews for the exam and the optical dispensary. The dr and all the staff, especially the receptionists at front desk were extremely accomodating and courteous, which I think is very important, and can make or break a client/patient's opinion of an experience. The doctor was thorough and my kids received their exams and we were told to go into the next room to pick out frames and get our prescription for glasses. It was 4:45pm. As all the staff were busy, we sat down to wait. One staff member was chatting incessantly with a customer after he was finished picking up his frames, but otherwise the others were actively assisting customers. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I noticed that one of the opticians was finished helping his customer and he got up to go to the front desk for something (looking very busy). He looked up and asked, Are you here to pick up a prescription? I said, We just saw the doctor, we need to pick out frames. He said, Well we close at 5pm, I don't think you're going to have time. and then.....HE WALKED AWAY. So me, being the patient person I am, just assumed he was going to assist us further in some way, I couldn't imagine that he would just walk away with nothing more to say.
