I took my cat in to get spayed because I needed it done ASAP and they were close to my house. when I asked how much it would be the lady on the phone said that it would be at the least 150$ for a cat my size but it could go up the 300$ and that she thought a simple spay for a little cat wouldn't be more than 150. when I came in the only time I could because of my crazy hours they asked me a bunch of questions about what she would need throughout the procedure. I thought I don't know this crap your the dr and told them to do what they do for a normal spay. they went thru the list of things they may or may not need to do throughout it an got down to an optional tracking chip. I asked how much i was at at that point. he said 270. 270?! that's 110 more than the lady said over the phone! after that I declined everything else on the list. when he was done he gave me a total of 330 after I DECLINED everything. and that's still 30 more than the highest price she gave me! how did it jump up 60$?! I could have gone somewhere way cheaper but I didn't have much choice..she was already with me and I Had to get to work.
