After going back to the vet everyday to keep up with cleaning and maintenance of the stitches as well as following all their directions, my dog's stitches and the area where they placed the drain opened up few days after getting the initial stitches. At this point my dog was in far worse shape than her initial wound. Half her body was completely open without any skin covering her internal body. Because Mayfair is closed on Sundays, we ended up paying an emergency vet to cover up her would. As soon as Mayfair opened on Monday, we went back to get my dog stitched up again. Then the doctor had to cut even more of her skin to get a cleaner skin healthy enough to restitch again. I called this urgent care before going and was told that they will see patients until 6:30, it was 6:05. So i jumped in my car with my 18 month old daughter who was visibly ill and arrive at 6:23. I was told they were no longer seeing patients-sorry. I stated that I just called and was told that patients will be seen until 6:30, the response I got was well, it almost is. They refused to see my daughter after stating that patients will be seen. I am incredible displeased with this facility they do a complete disservice to the name urgent care. Do not waist your valuable time going to see them, they don't care. If they cared they would have see my 18 month old.
