Oh and did i mention, there was no one waiting, they clearly were only worried about getting out of there on a Saturday night at 7, which is when they closed!!! and still wouldn't see her! Very caring staff - When we took our 15 yr old beloved family dog to this clinic as a walk in to have her put down, the staff was very respectful (they gave us a private room for our family to grieve and say our goodbyes) and very compassionate to the situation. The vet expressed his sorrow and understanding and the vet tech stayed with us (and brought us tissues). The front desk staff brought the paperwork to us (instead of making us do everything at the counter). They were top notch and considering the circumstance, it was a good experience. These people seem to really care about the animals and owners. BTW - our regular vet could not see us until tomorrow. When your dog hasn't eaten in 3 days and is so weak, the last thing you want to hear is we can't see you until tomorrow. Heights Vet Clinic will be our new vet when we get another dog!
