We've taken both of our dogs here on several occasions. One ate gopher poison another was just not himself - panting, edgy, whimpering. On both occasions the staff were helpful. Don't expect a kindly grandma type to come hold your hand and reassure you, but do expect professionals who know what they're doing. Both of our experiences were great and they took very good care of our dog who ate the gopher poison. As for the big guy who just wasn't himself - the vet tech looked at him, checked him out, and told us she thought he was ok. She gave us the option of waiting for the vet to do a once over when she finished her surgery or to come back later, or to just watch him and see how he did. So far he's been fine, and she didn't charge us a penny! I've also called them from time to time (once when our pitbull ate 2 dozen chocolate frosted cookies) and they've always been helpful. They are an URGENT CARE clinic. They don't know you, your dog, or its history. They do, however, know what to do in an emergency, and at 1:30 a.m. that's the best I can ask for!
