I accompanied/drove my husband to the ER because he was in a car accident and he refused to go in the ambulance at the time of the accident, in addition to him having MORE faith in the VA. I am talking about a man who has been through fire-fights, got shot at several times, and is currently declared disabled by the VA itself and not of his own accord. We told the IGNORANT desk staff that he was in a car accident and he's having chest pains + an injured hand. They of course did not take in to consideration any of this. He was directed to the nursing staff in the next room who took his vitals. After which he was seeing by another nursing staff for an evaluation. I usually absolutely love this place and go here frequently when my primary doctor is unavailable. However, today (the day after Thanksgiving) I tried to go around 12pm and they were closed. Their hours specifically say that holidays they are open from 10am - 4pm and today is technically not even a holiday. I searched for a sign on the door apologizing for any inconvenience but I couldn't find one. I'm very disappointed and I hope in the future they will be more clear about their hours.
