We bonded with Dr. Nakumura years ago, and as a result we follow her wherever she goes to treat and even 'save' our dogs from life threatening illnesses. There has also been a couple times where we had to put a couple of ours dogs down due to health related issues affected by old age. As some of you may know, that isn't easy and upsetting to go through the emotions. I never think it will ever get easier. Nevertheless, Dr. Nakumura assisted us in both cases, and we found her to be very respectful our of private moments with our babies. Moreover, I felt she was professional and compassionate in the way I have never experienced with a vet before. I don't like recalling those moments, but I know we acknowledge Dr. Nakumura (Yuka) as an extended member of our family in assisting us through the high and lows in the caring of our babies.
